Tabela periódica: uma tecnologia educacional histórica

Abstract

The periodic table is the most important and significant tool for obtaining information about chemical elements and their properties. Seeking to emphasize how much this instrument is essential to chemistry, this article is a literature review that highlights the history of the organization of the table through the events that marked its development, and the use of didactic resources aids in the teaching-learning process this theme, such as the contextualization throughout history, the educational games and software aids in the teaching learning of that subject. ___ RESUMO: A tabela periódica é a ferramenta mais importante e significativa para a obtenção de informações sobre os elementos químicos e suas propriedades. Buscando salientar o quanto esse instrumento é indispensável para a Química, este artigo faz uma revisão bibliográfica que destaca a história da organização da tabela através dos fatos que marcaram a sua evolução, e a utilização de recursos didático-pedágicos auxiliares no processo de ensinoaprendizagem deste tema, tais como a contextualização através da história, os jogos didáticos e os softwares auxiliares no processo de ensino aprendizagem do referido tema.
